Hello! I am a film scholar and archival film curator specializing in critical, interdisciplinary, and experimental approaches to contemporary silent film exhibition with a focus on women’s film history and cinematic labor. 

My writing has appeared in Feminist Media Histories, The Moving Image, and the Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage, among other outlets. I have curated film series, programs, and one-off screenings at various venues, including the Museum of Modern Art, Anthology Film Archives, Eye Filmmuseum, and the Netherlands Silent Film Festival.

I have lectured on film heritage practice and archival curatorship at the University of Amsterdam, organized conferences and academic events, and moderated panels and introduced screenings at different venues.

I am also the project manager and an editor of the Women Film Pioneers Project, a digital scholarly publication and archival resource dedicated to advancing research on women’s behind-the-scenes contributions to silent film industries and cinema cultures worldwide.

I currently serve as board president for Women and Film History International, a scholarly and archival organization and network dedicated to the study of women’s global film history. Among other things, we are behind the biennial Women and the Silent Screen conferences.
